Using this site

The guides and calculators here are free to use. You do not need an account and there is nothing to agree to before using them.

The calculators are estimates

The tools on this site do arithmetic on numbers you supply. They produce estimates to help you think, not financial advice, and their accuracy depends entirely on the accuracy of what you enter.

Do not make a significant commercial decision on the strength of a number from a free web calculator without checking it against your own data. We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of these outputs.

Embedding the tools

You are welcome to embed the calculators on your own site or in a newsletter using the embed version, provided the attribution link back to Leithen Lane stays intact and the tool is not altered or presented as your own.

Content

The written guides, the book, and the tools are the intellectual property of Leithen Lane. Quote them with attribution and a link, by all means. Do not republish them wholesale.

Emails

Joining the mailing list is voluntary and you can leave at any time using the link in any email. See the privacy page for what is stored and why.

Availability

The site is provided as is. We aim to keep it up and correct, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that everything is free of errors. If you find a mistake, telling us is genuinely appreciated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
